Fiordland – Milford Sound

The Fiordland Customs place is restricted to the arrival and departure of specified cruise vessels approved under a Deed of Agreement signed between Environment Southland and the New Zealand Cruise Ship Industry. Various other conditions also apply in relation to Customs processing requirements.

There is no provision for other overseas craft to arrive at or depart from Fiordland, including Milford Sound. Such craft must, therefore, arrive at or depart from a Customs port of entry.
