• obtain Departure Pack
• arrange return of firearms
• purchase duty free stores (if required) for delivery
• fax Departure Advance Information to New Zealand Customs Service
• confirm time and place of departure
• complete departure cards and have passports ready for inspection
• complete Outward Report
• provide recent photograph of craft
• supply yellow copy of Temporary Entry Form
• obtain a Category One Maritime Safety Inspection Certificate if necessary
• have any duty free goods and receipts available for Customs inspection
• complete departure process at agreed time and place
• obtain Clearance Certificate from Customs officer
• depart for overseas destination.
