Becoming A Trainee Customs Officer

Becoming a Trainee Customs Officer can be an exciting and rewarding experience as you learn what's involved in protecting New Zealand's border.

Normally three Trainee Customs Officers intakes are held each year - with up to thirty trainees recruited for each intake.

The first Trainee intake for 2009 has been completed and no further Trainee Customs Officer intakes are planned until 2010.
