Auckland Airport voted best in Australia-Pacific

Auckland Airport has been voted the best in the Australia Pacific region, and the tenth best in the world, in the 2009 independent Skytrax awards.

Over 8 million passengers and 190 airports were surveyed worldwide on 39 different airport service and product factors.

The latest results are an improvement on last year when Auckland Airport was ranked second and twentieth, respectively.

Key contributors to this ranking are the inbound and outbound border facilitation experience, including transit screening and security, at Auckland Airport.  Customs plays a huge overall part in this passenger journey experience.
