Please note that The New Zealand Customs Service updated FACT Sheet 17 Deferred Payment Scheme on the 1st July 2008. Applications for acceptance to the scheme are still being received on the incorrect form and because of this the application process is being unnecessarily delayed. The credit check fee has also been adjusted to $100 GST exclusive being $112.50. It would appear that some Brokers may still be dealing with the old form and the National Credit Control Unit would request that Brokers recheck their current link to the Customs site when advising their clients to download the Fact sheet.
