If you have explored all the information provided and are interested in a career in Customs, go to vacancies, register your details by clicking on the “Login/Register” option, and indicate which areas interest you.

Once you have registered, and provided us with your contact details, you will be kept informed by email of any upcoming vacancies in areas where you have expressed an interest, or which fit your profile. You will also be kept informed as to when recruiting is due to start for the next Trainee Customs Officer intake (for roles outside Auckland).

Please be aware though that security clearances are mandatory at Customs, and will be carried out before any job offer is made. Successful applicants will also need to pass a drug test and prove their New Zealand Citizenship or New Zealand Permanent Residency.
