Denise Hing, Group Manager Policy.

Denise has a Masters in Public Administration from the Australia‑New Zealand School of Government.

The Customs policy group provides advice to the Government and the Minister of Customs on border management issues, including international trade and international relations.

Denise also manages the Border Sector Secretariat — an inter-agency unit which services and supports the six border sector chief executives in working towards a more integrated and responsive border management system — and chairs the Border Sector Coordination and Advisory Group.
