Phil Chitty, Group Manager Airports (Acting).

As Group Manager Airports (Acting), Phil Chitty manages the group responsible for all Customs airports operations.

Phil is a long serving and very experienced officer, having started his Customs career as a cadet in 1965. Over the last 15 years Phil has held a number of management roles within Investigations, in the areas of drug enforcement, intellectual property rights, child exploitation and Customs fraud. He represented the Service at various international fora in these roles, including World Customs Organisation and World Intellectual Property Organisation conferences.

A personal highlight for Phil was being awarded the Queen's Service Medal in 1991 in recognition of his services to the community.
