Before arriving in New Zealand – and also on arrival – commercial vessels and cruise ships are obliged to complete a number of forms and documents and carry out a range of procedures. This is to meet the requirements of New Zealand’s border protection agencies. These include the New Zealand Customs Service, MPI Biosecurity New Zealand, Immigration New Zealand, and Maritime New Zealand.
