7. Can a bottler/labeller store goods as an offsite storage operation?

A

No. When the NZ Customs Service licences a manufacturing area, that area generally includes space to store the wine being made within that manufacturing area.

Offsite storage area licences are generally only approved when a licensed manufacturing area requires additional storage area in somewhere other than their licensed manufacturing area, because they can no longer physically accommodate the wine they manufacture.
