9. Can you compartmentalise the LMA in a contract facility (e.g. for off site storage)?

A

No. Manufacturing areas and offsite storage areas are two distinct entities and are licensed by the New Zealand Customs Service for different purposes.  One is for manufacturing that includes storage and the other solely for the storage of wine that cannot be physically accommodated in the licensed manufacturing area.
