Customs and MAF are holding consultation meetings in Auckland on 21 and 22 February to discuss elements of the Trade Single Window (TSW).
The TSW, which is currently under development, requires all potential users to be able to send and receive electronic messages in a particular format. The TSW will be introduced from early 2013, and messages must be in the new format 18 months after that.
In late December, Customs released a draft set of message guidelines to help potential users understand the new message format.
The upcoming consultation meetings will provide an opportunity to discuss these draft message guidelines and any questions about them.
To register your interest, and to receive full details of the meetings, please email jbms@customs.govt.nz noting which session you would like to attend.
