Customs and MAF are holding consultation meetings in the week of 21 February to discuss elements of the Trade Single Window (TSW).
The TSW, which is currently under development, requires all potential users to be able to send and receive electronic messages in a particular format. The TSW will be introduced from early 2013, and messages must be in the new format 18 months after that.
The upcoming consultation meetings will provide an opportunity to discuss these draft message guidelines and any questions about them. An update on the policy and procedure matters discussed in the last consultation meetings in August 2011 will also be provided.
