Use the official government website for completing the New Zealand Traveller Declaration

Customs would like to remind travellers that submitting a digital New Zealand Traveller Declaration is free and should be done on the official government website

Customs would like to remind travellers that submitting a digital New Zealand Traveller Declaration is free and should be done on the official government website – www.travellerdeclaration.govt.nz – or by downloading the New Zealand Traveller Declaration app.

Third-party sites charging a fee for completing a traveller declaration are not affiliated with the New Zealand Government. If you are asked for payment, please do not proceed. Go to travellerdeclaration.govt.nz to complete a declaration instead.

If you are concerned about any payment you have made, please contact the website directly to request a refund or do this via your credit card company. If you would like to report a potential scam, please see: Scams | New Zealand Government

If you are a frequent traveller to New Zealand or a returning citizen or visa holder, we recommend you download the official New Zealand Traveller Declaration app for easy access each time: www.travellerdeclaration.govt.nz/nztd-app/
