Pursuant to Schedule 2, clause 1 of the Legislation Act 2019, I, the Acting Chief Executive of the New Zealand Customs Service, gives notice of the intention to incorporate by reference the documents listed below into the Customs and Excise Regulations 1996. The documents set out the product specific rules of origin in relation to a number of free trade agreements to which New Zealand is a party. I propose incorporating these documents by reference in the Customs and Excise Regulations 1996 as an alternative to their full text being stated in those regulations.

These documents are available for inspection on this website. Alternatively, these documents are available for inspection, at no charge, between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays) at The Customhouse, 1 Hinemoa Street, Wellington 6011.
