The Minister terminated the investigation in relation to imports from Indonesia and from two Chinese suppliers. The Gazette notice for these determinations is at gazette.govt.nz/notice/id/2020-go5375.

These decisions affect the imposition of provisional duties which were the subject of an earlier notice of 26 August 2020, and a revision to the Customs Instructions has been prepared to reflect the termination of the investigation in regard to the two Chinese suppliers.

The effective date of the provisional anti-dumping duty was 26 August 2020. The provisional duty on the remaining suppliers will remain in force until the end of the investigation, which is likely to be in mid-March 2021.

Update on goods currently subject to anti-dumping duties:

  • Galvanised wire from China (provisional measure)
  • Preserved peaches from Spain 
  • Canned peaches from Greece 
  • Canned peaches from South Africa 
  • Galvanised wire from Malaysia

There are currently no goods subject to countervailing action.
