Synthetic Greenhouse Gas (Goods) Levy rate changes from 1 January 2023

Important Notice

From 1 January 2023 changes to the Synthetic Greenhouse Gas (Goods) Levy will increase levy rates, and some additional items will also be levied.

The Climate Change (Emissions Trading Scheme and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Levies) Amendment Regulations 2022 (Schedule 3) set out the levy rate changes and expansion of the Levy to some new goods and gases.
