01.56pm 16 November 2022

Earlier this month, the Comptroller of Customs made new Chief Executive Rules: Customs (Arriving Passenger and Crew Declarations) Amendment Rules (No 2) 2022.

These Rules amend the Customs (Arriving Passenger and Crew Declarations) Rules 2018 (the Principal Rules), namely the information and forms that may be required from arriving passengers for the purposes of satisfying regulation 26(1)(b)(i) of the Customs and Excise Regulations 1996.

These new rules accompany a previous set of amendments to the Principal Rules which were also published recently, in October 2022: the Customs (Arriving Passenger and Crew Declarations) Amendment Rules 2022.

These Rules are available to view (PDF 264 KB).
